The weeks forecast looks promising, which means I might get all of you to read those books I buy and suggest to you all the time. Here's the list of favorite books as of late:
1. Life of Pi by Yann Martel (this book tops every list, it's hands down best book I've ever read. Absolutely profound and life changing, I'll buy you a copy)
2. Ishmael by Daniel Quinn (for the philosophical)
3. Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter by Mario Vargas Llosa
4. The Book of Laughter and Forgetting by Milan Kundera (not very "summery", I'll admit)
5. Love Walked In by Marisa de los Santos (for the ladies)
6. Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell (for the intellectuals)
7. The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
8. Nine Stories by JD Salinger
9. When You Are Engulfed in Fames by David Sedaris
...I'm afraid I'm pulling a blank, will add more when I figure out exactly what I feel I am forgetting.
